This 7 Days Uganda Safari is a combined Uganda safari tour package leading you to Uganda’s top tourist destinations on safari. That is, Murchison Falls National Park in the northwestern region of Uganda for rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary en route, Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking, among other exceptional activities.
Detailed Itinerary for the 7 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park – Ziwa Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking
Start the day trip by picking up from your hotel in Kampala by our expert driver guide, brief you about the safari. The journey takes 4-to 5-hour drive to access the park. You will drive through the stunning countryside of Luweero and later have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
After tracking, continue to another stop in Masindi where you will have en-route lunch. After lunch, proceed to the park, drive towards the top of the falls. Along the way, you will view various baboons, warthogs, and others. Accessing the top of the falls, you will be amazed by the magnificent falls squeezing through the rocks in an 8 m gorge. Enjoy taking as many photos as possible for your future remembrance. Later, you will drive to the lodge, relax the entire evening, have dinner, and stay overnight at Red Chili Rest Camp, Murchison Falls Bamboo Village, Paraa Safari Lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge, Fort Murchison Lodge, Nile Safari Lodge, Twiga Safari Lodge, or Sambiya River Lodge.

Day 2: Game drive and Launch cruise
On day 2 of the 7 Days Uganda Safari, you will start with morning breakfast and then drive to the park in search for wildlife, morning hours is the best spotting time for big cats such as lions, leopards, hyenas and others species to see are herds of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, Kobs, giraffes, warthogs, baboons many more. Drive back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
Afternoon Boat cruise: Later on, head for a boat cruise along Victoria Nile where you will be able to see various quadric species like hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and above all, you will reach where the Nile squeezes itself through a narrow gorge to tall 7 meters. You can get off the boat and hike up to the top of the falls, view this powerful waterfall, as well as take photographs. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
On day 3 of the 7 Days Uganda Safari, after an early morning breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park with your lunch en route. You will arrive at the park in the evening, check in, relax, have dinner, and stay overnight at Kibale Eco Home or Chimpanzee Guesthouse, Kibale Forest Camp, Crater Safari Lodge, or a similar option depending on your preference and budget.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking
On day 4 of the 7 Days Uganda Safari, you will wake up, have morning breakfast, and be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing about dos and don’ts of Chimps. Later, walk to forest trails led by a park ranger in search of endangered chimpanzees, and the chances of seeing them are very high since the park is the capital of primates. After allocating them, you will be given one hour to spend with them, learn their behaviors, feeding, social life, playing, and photography. Please note that they are said to be 98% DNA. Back for Lunch. In the evening, you can opt to do guided nature walks around Bigodi wetland for primate viewing and bird watching. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 5 of the 7 Days Uganda Safari, you will wake up, have morning breakfast, then set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a journey that takes a 5 to 6-hour drive to access the park.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 6 of the 7 Days Uganda Safari, after your early morning breakfast served at the lodge with your packed lunch boxes, your driver will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After, you will be allocated to the gorilla family accompanied by the ranger guide. On allocating them, you will be allowed an hour to observe them learn about their lifestyle, and also take photographs. After, you will walk back to the starting point. If it’s still early, you may go to visit the Batwa Community. After, back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Bwindi My Home Lodge, Buhoma Haven Lodge, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, or similar accommodation depending on availability and your budget.
Day 7: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe
On your last day, you will have an early breakfast, followed by check out of the lodge, and then meet up with your driver guide to drive back to Kampala with an en-route lunch. On arriving, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight back home, and this marks the end of the safari.
