Detailed Itinerary for the 1 Day Jinja Tour

Depending on your location in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be welcomed by our expert driver guide who will brief you about the 1 Day Jinja Tour and then start the journey to Jinja in Eastern Uganda. You will have en –route stopover visit at Ssezibwa Falls in Mukono, about 45 kilometers from Kampala. Enjoy the break, taking a view of the falls, and also learn about its beautiful cultural significance.

After you will proceed to Mabira Forest, where you will have a stop to engage in one of the activities done here, like zip-lining. Zip-lining is done in the tropical rainforest. After the zip-lining experience, you will proceed to Jinja as the main safari location, with rewarding views of the beautiful scenery, tea and sugar cane plantations, and others along the way.

Upon arrival, you will have lunch, and thereafter go for the source of the Nile boat cruise, which takes about 1 to 2 hours. After the boat cruise, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a city tour in Jinja town, where you will walk towards the Jinja railway station for enjoyment – visit the Gandhi statue, craft shops where you will buy some beautiful souvenirs. After the city tour, you will start the journey back to Kampala, and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe International Airport.
