Lake Mburo National Park is a notably gifted site with over 315 bird species and a vast number of wild animals ranging from zebra, eland, buffalo, Oribi, deffasa waterbuck, leopard, hyena, hippo, reed back among others. During the safari, you will participate in astonishing activities like a boat cruise and game drive, among others.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

On your first day of the safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide, who will brief you about the safari and then set off to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch, where after you will go for an Afternoon game drive in the park, where you will have an impressive view of different animals, enjoy sunset viewing, beautiful scenery many others. After the game drive, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hyena Hill Lodge, Arcadia Lodge Lake, or Rwakobo Rock Lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast on the second day of the 3 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in the park where you will be amazed with great views of animals like buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, impalas, topi, view different bird species among others. After the game drive, you will drive to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will drive to the landing site for an impressive boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During the boat cruise, expect to enjoy incredible views of hippos and crocodiles in the water, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, view water birds such as cormorants, hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers, and view fishermen fishing among others. After the interesting boat cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Walking safari and departure to Kampala

After breakfast on the last day of the 3 days Lake Mburo wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a walking safari with an experienced park guide where you will be able to view various animal species at a close range, listen to sweet sounds of birdlife, take beautiful pictures many others.

After the walking safari, you will drive out of the park and transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way and another stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe, where you will enjoy taking photographs, buy souvenirs, and then continue the journey to Kampala. Arriving early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at any place of your choice.
